After the album MASSIVE ADDICTIVE released in 2014, the Swedish / Danish of AMARANTHE be back with a new album called « MAXIMALISM » in stores on 21/10/2016.
Amaranth have a style of their own that we could describe as « melodic metal », the group varied with different musical themes (électro, pop, heavy metal …).
The jacket design is dark which refers to the metal side of the group, the logo it’s very personal.
« Maximize » we set the tone from the first listen and stroke is one hangs either hate it, knowing that this album is intended for a wider public than the previous.
« That song« , as that was the subject of a single, « fury » and « supersonic » are good songs that sends even if it sounds like the voice of Rihanna, by friendly against the double of « fury » .
« Endlessly » beautiful song gives me chills, super nice lyrical mounted.
Elize, Henrik and Jake, a trio effective (clear vocals, and heavy growl / scream), Elize‘s voice is always at the top in a very pop style or variety, Jake the heavy-metal song and Henrik is also aptly growleur… .Finally rather screameur, explosive and energetic with very good riffs, very good rhythm, very good solos and beautiful melodies, the group transports us into their electric universe.
Fans will be absolutely delighted to see their idols in concert in Paris on 03 November at the « petit bain« .
It’s a very rich album by Elize Ryd voice, Jake Lundberg and Henrik Englund Wilhemsson, by the frenzied solos Olof Morck, this album is very good a masterpiece.
Après l’album MASSIVE ADDICTIVE sorti en 2014, les suédois / Danois d’AMARANTHE reviennent avec un nouvel opus nommé MAXIMALISM dans les bacs le 21/10/2016.
Amaranthe ont un style bien à eux que nous pourrions qualifier de « metal mélodique », le groupe vari avec différents thèmes musicaux (électro, pop, heavy metal…).
Coté pochette le design est assez sombre ce qui fait référence au côté metal du groupe, pour le logo il est très personnel
«Maximize » nous annonce la couleur dès la première écoute et du coup soit on accroche soit on déteste, sachant que cet album est destiné a un plus large publique que les précédents.
« that song », titre qui a fait l’objet d’un single, « fury » et « supersonic » sont de bon titres qui envoie même si au chant on croirait entendre par moment Rihanna, par contre sympa la double sur « fury ».
« endlessly » très belle chanson qui me donne des frissons, super belle montées lyriques.
Elize, Henrik et Jake, un trio efficace (chant claire, heavy et growl/scream) , la voix d’Elize est toujours au top dans un style très pop voir variété, Jake au chant heavy-metal et Henrik fait également bien son boulot de growleur….enfin plutôt screameur , musicalement explosif et énergique avec de très bon riffs, de très bonne rythmiques, de très bon solos et de très belle mélodies, le groupe nous transporte dans leur univers électrique.
Les fans seront absolument ravis de retrouver leurs idoles en concert sur Paris le 03 novembre prochain au « petit bain »
C’est un album très riche de par les voix d’Elize Ryd, de Jake Lundberg et d’Henrik Englund Wilhemsson, que par les solos endiablés d’Olof Morck, cet opus de très bonne qualité est un chef d’oeuvre, en deux mots « une perle ».
